The Madina Company was founded in 1993. Salimov Tursuntai Ablizovich became the Founder and Director General of the Company and team of his true companions is represented by Deputy Director Tohtiev Shavhat Nurmuhambetovich, accountant Favorskaya Galina Vasilyevna, deputy for construction Safonov Victor Alekseevich, Suimenaliev Sagynbek Nasyrovich.
The young company started its activity with the cooperation with a number of firms from the CIS countries such as: Danova LLC (Russia) engaged in the production of polystyrol items, IM Santek (Moldova) manufacturing a ceramic tile, Santek CJSC (Moscow) manufacturing sanitaryware items. And big supply of the cotton oil from Uzbekistan was arranged as well.
Further the Company developed active collaboration with foreign companies some of which were represented neither in Kyrgyzstan nor in Central Asia. Madina Limited Liability Company has become an official and exclusive distributor of Italian ceramic producing plants like ITS Ceramiche, Rio Kerfin, LUX Ceramiche and sole distributor of the Broaster firm.
As the company developed and established its field of activity also extended. There was developed a large-scale project of the shopping and commercial center the idea of foundation whereof got off the round in August 25, 2001, on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Republic Independence Day. The sales area of the complex amounted to 6800 square meters and provided numerous renters, representatives of small and medium business with work.
A large wholesale market of cloth, fittings and sewing equipment was created on the territory of the trading complex in 2002. The great majority of the entrepreneurs engaged in this field of trade were the citizens from China and Sinzjan-Uygur autonomic region. The supply of cloth from Turkey, China, Korea, and UAE directly from the manufacturing works was arranged.
The cloth market made a great contribution to the development of the Republic sewing production as the infrastructure and operation advanced. Numerous sewing workshops opened in the country purchased fresh raw materials for the manufacturing of their products exactly at the cloth market Madina. Further the products were sold and became in demand in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Belorussia.
Today 200 000 persons are involved in the garment sphere of Kyrgyzstan according to the data of Textile and Light Industry Enterprises Association. Besides that 150 thousand citizens of Kyrgyzstan are selling domestic garment goods beyond the territory of the Republic. The entities of textile and garment manufacture in Kyrgyzstan have produced the goods to the sum of approximately 5 billion KGS under the same data. The activity of the Madina Company is currently diversified and it works on many directions. So the opening of the sport and entertainment complex Prado with total area of 4000 square meters took place in 2007 in the Vostok-5 micro region. The complex consists of weight room, aerobics room, beauty salon, sauna, large swimming pool, hotel rooms and a luxurious restaurant for 150 places.
